Spring Installations

Price: CALL FOR PRICING
Spring installation is performed using special tools such as the Branick 7200 wall-mount and the Baum on-car spring compressor.

Safety is the most important concern and we remove the spring/strut assembly completely from the car and use the Branick to avoid potential damage or injury. It is common to quickly remove the upper bolt with an impact tool and the assembly shoots apart once the tension is released. This method is faster but can be dangerous and also cause damage to the struts internal mechanisms. We use Branick to hold the assembly while we inser the proper tool to hold the strut shaft in place while we use specially designed open end sockets and wrenches to remove the assembly nuts by hand.

We recommend replacing the struts at the same time because the process is repeated. Camber kits are also strongly recommended if available. Vehicles must be aligned after installation.
