The latest version of speedART's LED blinkers for the non-Turbo 997 Porsche's are made to replace the OEM units. They are made of the same resistant plastic and incorporate three LED functions. The first function is a strip of eight individual white LED lights that run across the bottom of the lens for the fog-light. The second function is a seamless horizontal Daytime Running Light (DRL) strip. This strip is activated by setting the headlight switch into the parking light mode. The third function is the orange blinker, also enhanced with a row of eight LED lights, which works with the standard turn signal.

The installation of lights is straight forward and takes around an hour. The bumper does not need to be removed and the units are pre-wired to plug directly into the factory wiring harness. speedART offers an additional harness for those that are interested in having the DRL's powered with the ignition so that they are active at all times while the car is "on". It will also eliminate the rear parking light that is active when the DRL's are installed to the OEM harness.
